Festival of Nations was lovely!
This year there was a concerted effort to take lots of pictures and try and capture a little of the special heart and soul of the FoN and through it the school and community.

On September 7, 2021, Dr. Bauer presented the students of the Diversity Task Force the Commitment Award of the German Association for Political Education.
The award was given for the outstanding political commitment of the students who, despite the pandemic, used their political capacity to act to benefit the school. For example, online workshops for elementary school classes were organized around Black History Month, an Instagram campaign on the same topic was launched, and a diversity workshop was offered to our teachers. This school year, the topic of Black History is coming into focus as part of a workshop series for Sek I and Sek II.
This is a question often posed by parents and students alike.
Luckily we have a short animation created and narrated by our own Christian D.IB 12. which does more than just answer the question.
The MUN group which meets on Thursdays are currently busy organising our own NELMUN conference . Our student officies Emily, Lena & Mina Q1. are making arrangements to ensure the conference runs smoothly . These officers are assisted by Kim Leanne Q1, Yessie & Estella IB 3 & 1B 12 who are preparing research reports as well as Lia & Suvi Grade 10.

This year NMS once again scored higher than the Berlin average grades for Abitur exams. NMS students scored an excellent 1.68 against an average of 2.3. This is despite all the very challenging conditions.
The IB International Baccalauriat grades have now been published and show that NMS has also achieved excellent results not just in the Abitur but in the IB. Average points were 33 in 2021 and one student achieved a grade of 45 points as opposed to 42 in 2020, this is the top possible grade for IB. Results are here for 2021 and here for 2020.
ÄNDERUNG DES BLÄSERKLASSEN ANGEBOTS IN DER PRIMARSTUFE
