Started last year, to great acclaim from students, the Primary Library Lucky Dip Fundraiser needs your help. In order to begin the fundraiser on Monday, 5 December 2011, we need present donations before then. We will keep the Fundraiser going as long as we have presents to “Dip”.

We need donations from parents and students like you--i.e. board games, puzzles, jewellery, jewellery boxes, card games, unwanted gifts, books, yoyos, in fact anything a child would like. No soft toys please!

We require the gifts to be wrapped and marked 'girl', 'boy', or suitable for both. A hint as to age group on the label would also be good. Wrapped gifts may be handed in to either library (The Lucky Dip though will only be held at the Primary Library for Primary Students).

We only charge 2,00 € per 'dip', which doesn't represent the value of the gift inside - it is a good fundraiser and the idea is that the kids enjoy receiving a surprise gift and the library takes in a tidy sum of money to purchase new fiction.
